Hello lovelies! This weekend officially marks the end of October, with Halloween fun in store! 🙂 With November quickly approaching, it’s time for me to share how well I’ve accomplished my goals for this month, as well as talk about what I hope to get done in November!
YES! Excel at my new job
I mean, I’m a little biased on this one (lol) but at the very least, I’ve definitely settled down into my work routine and have handled everything thrown my way so far!
KIND OF Pitch my major story for my class brilliantly
My pitch went totally fine, but I actually ended up changing my story idea later on (oops!). My new story is actually a lot better, so it all worked out in the end, but I’m still counting this as ‘kind of’ done 😉
IN PROGRESS Study smart + ace my midterms
I totally killed two midterms, and have one tomorrow to still get ready for. This is my hardest one, so ~fingers crossed~ I pass!
YES! Have an amazing girl’s night with friends
Despite my busy schedule, I still managed to make time for a gal’s night. There is nothing more relaxing, after all 🙂
KIND OF Continue to look into internship options for next summer + housing options for next year
So I’m all set with housing next year, but am still looking into and applying for internships for the summer.
YES! Dedicate at least 1 hour each week for relaxation/me-time
Relaxation time is so important, and I’ve really been working hard at fitting it in during my busy ~sometimes~ crazy hectic week. There’s no point in over-stressing myself when a little bit of a break can actually make you more productive later on.
KIND OF Be more vocal in discussions in class
I’m definitely more invested in some of my discussions than others. I regularly talk in my English one (mostly because I like English lol), but quiet down in my history class and other writing class. #trying
IN PROGRESS Create a list for my birthday (November 16!)
It’s definitely a work in progress lol! 🙂
YES! Explore some of the State Street restaurants I haven’t been to yet
I went to two new locations this month, but definitely haven’t reached all of the places I want to yet. Will keep working on this one moving forward!
NO 😦 Come up with a killer Halloween costume
So I’ve decided to be lame(-ish) and have a scary movie marathon date night instead. Who needs Halloween, after all? 😉
- Finish applications
- Have an amazing 21st birthday!
- Clean my room (it’s sad this needs to be a goal)
- Study in the Historical Society
- Buy myself an adorable birthday outfit 🙂
- Keep up my blogging schedule
- Write an amazing major story
- Have fun 🙂
