Hello, lovelies! Today I am sharing some more details about my college experiences here at UW-Madison. In case you ever manage to make it to the lovely state of Wisconsin, I have compiled a list of the 5 places here in our capital that you must absolutely visit!

1. The Terrace

2. Chazen Museum of Art

Chazen Museum of Art Confession: I know absolutely nothing about art. And yet I totally love this place. Go in, look around and be amazed by all the interesting pieces. My favorite painting is hidden on the second floor. Brownie points if you can figure out which one it is!

3. Henry Vilas Zoo

The five-year-old in me is very satisfied with this one. It’s definitely the best free zoo I have ever been to. The animals are pretty active and are actually visible, and the new polar area is great.

4. Camp Randall / The Kohl Center

Okay, so I couldn’t choose which one to put on this list. Everyone needs to go to at least one football and basketball game before they graduate. Just saying.
5. Wisconsin State Capitol

I may be slightly biased since I interned here, but it’s truly one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve been inside with all of the art and grandeur. I suggest taking the tour, there’s a lot of interesting history in the building that will make the trip even more worth your while.

Have any other great Madison places in your top five? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter @CaseyDonart

xoxo and have a great week
